A Guide To Dating

Friday, June 25th, 2004

A friend commented to me today that it’s really funny we call it “checking out” when we are chasing members of the opposite sex. Thus we came to the conclusion that dating is kind of like a library. She pointed out that…

- Some you take for 2 weeks, then return them.
- Only to be checked out again.
- Some books get banned.
- Other tattered.
- Some have fancy covers to make themselves look better.
- You can look for different types in different sections.
- The places you go to find them smell funny.
- Sometimes you are overwhelmed.
- Sometimes you find one so special that you snuggle up to it in the store.
- And sometimes you don’t return it until it’s way past due.

My key point lies here…

- Sometimes you really like the cover, but don’t like the story.
- Others the cover perfectly complements the story and they become a part of your everyday life forever ;)

Ahh isn’t analogy fun!

Emerson

Friday, June 25th, 2004

To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayl of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better,
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived.
This is to have SUCCEEDED.

Matthew Moon on iTunes!

Thursday, June 24th, 2004

A momentous day! One of my greatest friends and favorite artists Matthew Moon now has his entire current music catalog published into the iTunes Music Store. Getting into the iTMS is not an easy task, and he is one of the only acts from Colorado up there. Congratulations Matt! Everyone should drop into the iTMS and grab a couple of songs, or hell…an entire album or three, for their purchased songs library.

Click Here!

Link directly to the Matthew Moon Band section in your iTunes application. If you don’t have iTunes yet, I have a link on the bottom of the right hand side navigation bar. Join the iTunes revolution!

I’ll Give You Flourescent

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2004

Yes! Finally someone that agrees with me! Flourescent lighting is the worst thing ever. My company will never have it, and I wish that it was never invented. I think that an associate’s workspace is vitally important to the quality of work that they produce. Bravo for someone finally writing an article reflecting this.
