Every woman I know that was in San Francisco this weekend was talking about this. One of the most brilliantly targeted viral marketing campaigns I have ever heard of. Nike should get full credit too, for developing such an amazing women’s sporting event. Bravo.

Just got back to San Francisco, had a fantastic late night dinner at Cafe De Lucchi in North Beach. Have a lot to think and write about after this trip. Every time I go to Boston, I end up having some of the best and most intellectual conversations ever. Is it the number of universities concentrated in one area? I don’t know. Whatever it is, I like it.
This time, I hung out with a good friend and collegue of mine, Clif Hirtle. He’s a passionate individual, with a passion for digital media in Education. Which, I like. He left me with a pretty awesome quote about life and the “real world” post college:
“I hate mediocrity.”
Enough said.

Four is…still too early
En route to Boston. Beantown, oysters, the Red Sox, the family roots. Always good to do business on old family turf.

We sealed up a Red Bull appearance (Thank you Victor) at SuperHappyDevHouse a few weeks ago. And, after a little fancy global networking, another one at BarCamp Amsterdam this weekend. These events are fantastic!
I’ve decided to pledge my organizational support to Amit and Chris for BarCamp NYC. The date is yet undecided, but if you are interested in attending, here is a description of what the movement is trying to accomplish, from the BarCamp Wiki:
BarCamp is an ad-hoc un-conference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.
Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn are welcome and invited to join.
When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers. When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world.
Join the fun! See you there.
