Google Maps + ?
Google Maps is one of the coolest and insanely well done web applications to pop up in this current round of web 2.0 apps. And, with the addition of satellite imaging, it has pretty much become the gold standard of online mapping pretty much overnight.
What if you it became even more useful? What if it could help you find your new pad?
As Amit pointed out, the “mash-ups” have been popping up all over the place. Some are pretty damn good. Some aren’t.
This one is incredible. Paul Rademacher is on to something. Google isn’t letting anyone see the APIs behind Maps. They’ve also been toying around with the way they authorize linking into it as my buddy Nate pointed out. Craigslist is fairly quiet about it as well.
Does this mean we might see a marriage of two of the coolest services on the planet coming straight from the source?
I can’t wait to see.

I’m considering buying a house, and location is the most important parameter to me. Being able to quickly scan over the neighborhoods I’m interested in and click to immediately get the craigslist ad is very nice. I imagine we’ll see lots of similarly useful apps like this based off of Google maps.
