Matthew Moon on iTunes!

Thursday, June 24th, 2004

A momentous day! One of my greatest friends and favorite artists Matthew Moon now has his entire current music catalog published into the iTunes Music Store. Getting into the iTMS is not an easy task, and he is one of the only acts from Colorado up there. Congratulations Matt! Everyone should drop into the iTMS and grab a couple of songs, or hell…an entire album or three, for their purchased songs library.

Velvet Revolver

Thursday, May 6th, 2004

I haven’t taken a liking to talking up much of the music scene on my blog to date. But, I feel something has come along worthy of note. Some of you may or may not agree that Stone Temple Pilots were/are one of the best rock bands ever. From some of the most hardcore rock on their first album Core to all-time classics like “Interstate Love Song”, “Vaseline”, “Plush”, and “Creep”, STP will always be FRS.

Scott Wieland’s pain filled vocals reflect his battle with bipolar and substance addiction, translating into some of the most diverse rock on the market. He’s now put together a new band called Velvet Revolver. They’ve got one new single out, and I’m interested to hear what you guys think of it. I’m tossed up. Still sounds a little like the old STP to me, but progressed. Check it out…

Matthew Moon

Thursday, April 15th, 2004

Just a quick post to let everyone know that Matthew Moon is playing Friday night at The Foundry. He’s also playing at CB & Potts in the Tech Center (Near Fiddler’s) on Saturday night as well. All Denver folk should hit up both if not one of them as he hasn’t played in the Denver area in awhile. Matt is one of my good buddies, and his music is absolutely wonderful. If you haven’t checked him out, I highly recommend it. There are plenty of songs to sample on his website. Definately check it out. Give me a call if you want to meet up for either show! Rock on!
