Taking into consideration the promt response there was for the San Franciso earthquake almost 100 years ago, I could only but hope that this time history had repeated itself. New York Times had a great article published on Sept. 8 titled 'Before the Flood' http://www.nytimes.com/2005/09/08/opinion/08winchester.html?th&emc=th If that is not convincing enough wait until April 06 and go to the SFMOMA where they will host an exhibit of the earthquake with various detailed accounts. Apparently they were not very good becuase this was not in the plan. When they said "Holy crap we need help!" - help was sent. It takes time to figure out where to send people and shooting at the helicopters tends to slow down the process. BTW - I'm sure you've had one of those bosses the in a time of crisis sits over your shoulder and second guesses everything. I have and IT DOESN'T WORK. Let the guys who know what they're doing do it, but make sure that they have whatever they need to get it done. That's what it looks like to me.
