Inaugural Jelly! Talk this Friday: Facebook Connect & OpenID
This Friday, I’ll be joining my good friend Chris Messina at the first ever Jelly! Talk in San Francisco. Which, is hosted by my other good friend Amit Gupta.
If you are not familiar with the awesomeness that is Jelly, here’s a quick rundown: A few years ago Amit created Jelly as a collaborative “coworking” community and culture in New York City. Jelly was to be a bi-weekly get together of creative minded internet-type folks who were working from home and wanted to get together in person to share ideas, collaborate, and infuse energy into their projects. Two years later, Jellies have been established in over 20 cities to much success and fanfare.
Amit has decided to take the next step and distribute the Jelly conversation to the world through Jelly Talks. He asked if I would join Chris for the inaugural talk to discuss making the web more social through Facebook Connect and OpenID. So, I whole heartedly said, “Sure!”
The physical space is supposedly sold out, but we’re happy to be broadcasting the talk so that everyone can tune in live. Hope to see you there!
