Passport Nightmare
Well folks I have commited the number one worst thing that you could possibly do while traveling abroad. Why I pulled my passport out of my coat pocket and put it into my back pocket I am not exactly sure. This is normally something that I never do. I even had a vision of the possibility of it falling out when I did this switch. Alas, when checking in at London Heathrow, my passport was no where to be found. No doubt swiped out of my pocket by a greedy passport seller, or just simply fallen on the ground somewhere in the Underground. This has made my trip home much more expensive, and much more stressful. But, it’s not the worst thing that could have happened. I’m now waiting at Starbucks across the street from the US Embassy, alas because they are all at lunch until 2, in order to get my limited viability passport so that I can get home tommorrow. What a mess. Note to everyone out there, and something I should have listened to myself; keep your passport clutched closely to you at all times, you do not want to have to deal with this.
