The New Matchstick

Fresh in from watching excessively ridiculous fresh tracks, helicopter antics, massive tabletop jumps, and amazing cinemetography in the most recent addition to the Matchstick Productions family: The Hit List.

I highly recommend it. This year, as expected, Matchstick evolved. Utilizing all new camera angles involving flying a helicopter almost directly behind the talent while in air. Insane.

One of my ski movie production buddies and I used to joke about camera angles like that. Now Matchstick is doing them. Further establishing their dominance in the niche ski movie market.

So, if you’re a hardcore skier, or just want to check out one of the hottest new ski flicks to get you fired up for the upcoming season. Hit Matchstick’s website and find out when the tour rolls through your town.

Teton Gravity Research is up next. Then the new Warren Miller (in FULL HD!)

I always liked Matchstick more than TGR. The MSP flicks always seemed to have more stoke.
