Thoughts from Florida
Landed in Orlando at 4:30ish. The taxis are on strike because the government charges them in upwards of $600 a week to operate. That’s pretty intense. I hope the government caves.
Houses in Florida have their entire backyards covered with these really cool screen structures. Never thought of that. One of the things that I like the most about traveling for work is that I get to see a lot of really different places, even in America. Sometimes you tend to think that the whole country is being homogenized by big brands, but geography still makes things interesting.
Big thought on my mind:
There are 4 million paying customers playing World of Warcraft online. These are subscription based customers, not people that just sign up and don’t play.
Think about that. 4 million people in the world playing a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (or as the gamer types call it, a MMORPG).
There are only 8 million college students at 4 year universities in the US.

Count me in in the WoW crowd. It is an amazing, social game. There is always more to learn and do, and the graphics are great.
Come on, start playing….you’ll like it.
